Birmingham City have a short injury list ahead of their final game of the Championship season against Norwich City.

Blues face a do-or-die match with the Canaries and have to win to stand any chance of retaining their Championship status. Interim manager Gary Rowett was boosted by the returns of Alex Pritchard and Lukas Jutkiewicz for last weekend's draw with Huddersfield Town.

The experienced duo were among a clutch of second half substitutes Rowett made at the John Smith's Stadium to try and swing the game in Blues' favour. Jutkiewicz declared himself fit on the eve of the match after six weeks out with a knee injury.

“Jukey epitomises what you need at this stage of the season," said Rowett. "As he has done so many times, he just wants to get out there. He’s running around with more tape on him than I’ve ever seen in my life.

“He is going to do his best to be available. I think that’s really inspirational. That’s what you need to look at at this stage of the season, someone who has had to do it so many times but just cannot do it any other way than be incredibly professional.

“If he is available then at some point in the game he could be absolutely vital to change the game. We haven’t had the opportunity to do that at all really, so he could certainly give us a different outlet should we need it late on.”

The only players Rowett is likely to be without against Norwich are Oliver Burke and long-term absentee Alfie Chang. Burke suffered a reoccurrence of his hamstring injury against Rotherham two weeks ago, while Chang has been sidelined since August with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Oliver Burke

Injury: Hamstring

Rowett surprised everyone by handing Burke a start at Rotherham but it didn't go to plan. Burke was booed by Blues fans and substituted at half-time. Rowett says Burke felt his hamstring at the New York Stadium and missed the subsequent trip to Huddersfield.

Alfie Chang

Injury: Knee

Alfie Chang made his long-awaited return to the grass on May 1 after eight months out with a serious knee injury. The midfielder took part in some light exercises at Blues' training ground after a long road to recovery in the gym. Chang, 21, hopes to be in shape for the start of pre-season.
